Yay...i'm famous.
It's always been the friggin front bumper that screwed me from behind, front, left, right.

I am fed up, and will go with oem 97+ bumper.
No worry about fitment, ground clearance, and mostly toyota won't screw me over.

is the ground clearance really that low compared to the JIC??? I thought the JIC had the worst clearance ever.

Eek... I feel bad for you Chrono. Like what the others said, I cannot believe that they would dare restock this piece of junk. Best of luck to you my friend.

Dag seems like its a gamble no matter what kit you get these days. 97 conversion is the way to go as you said.

wow that is hurting. I thought the kit was promising as well because 240 guys praise the kits. Their fitments on 240's is very good.
dissapointing

I feel your pain about body kits..

My erebuni 451 lip showed up yesterday. 280 CAN plus shipping collect. Guy shows up at my door and says its cash only . 337 CAN for shipping from Cali to here in Victoria! outrageous. It gets better. They call me 2 hours later and say they need it back because it didn't clear customs yet. WTF Tell me what the point is in taking it back to clear customs now. I've already got my guns and drugs out of the box haha.
Now I will have to pay for brokerage and GST (7% tax)
lets see.
280 CAN + 337 CAN + approx 100 CAN = *** raped $717 CAN = $582 US . its not even prepped, painted and installed yet!! ****!

Thanks for the support guys.

My plan:
1. Get a 97+ bumper and get it painted by next week.
2. Save some money and buy a Vertex lip.

I should've gone this route from the beginning. During winter time, I'll take the lip off so I don't have to drive a snow plower. Then during summer, put it back on.
