Hay man, as the others have said many times, glad you're ok...seeing those pics makes me miss Hawaii all the more...I moved away many years ago, and only visit once in awhile now... I really love Hawaii...Paradise on this earth. I look forward to retiring there in the future...

hey guys. sorry for the long delay.... didn't hop on the comp for a coupla days.
the way it happened... i was driving home from kaneohe on the H3 going halawa bound. it was wet n rainy. i had dropped the car so alignment was next on my "to do list". also, i think my rear tires weren't in the best condition. as i drove into the tunnel it was nice and a little bit dryer than outside. my car drove stable. as soon as i exited the tunnel the road condition immediately changed since it was raining a little bit....
before i knew it my rear end had kicked out and i was facing the side of the road, the mountains on the side. i didn't know wether to counter steer, tap the brakes a little... or anything... i was in shock. my rear end collided with the cement wall and dragged on until i came to a screeching halt. my car was facing traffic, but luckily i was alive.
insurance won't cover because the plan i had with them was only liability. i remember asking for full coverage and the associate was dissuading me from doing so because my car "was a little old". so i had to pay for towing from my pocket... only to realize that it still drives.
i'd like to thank everyone here at club lexus for your caring and support. i didn't even think about reparing the car until i saw some of those before and after pics. we'll see what happens. i owe a lot to this site, i got most of my parts and information from these forums! i shouldn't give up on the car, but i guess i'll be working 2 jobs to get started on repairs. if i do end up parting out the car i will definately let you guys know.
maintenance. everyone please listen to your car if it's trying to tell you something. that was my mistake.

Dude, if the car still drives then you may not have frame damage, if thats the case, the your in major luck!!!
If you fix the car yourself your looking to pay around $2000-3000 in parts (www.car-part.com) and around $600 for paint.
Depends how much of the work you want to do yourself.
If you pay someone to fix it, your looking around $7000-$8000 total
Good luck brother! glad to see your ok, let any of us know if you need any advice or assistance! We are all family here! You can do it!
