Looking for a used but good working condition 2jzgte MAP sensor here in Houston.

make sure you specify its for a JDM 2jz... someone with a USDM motor might send you a MAF

 

I'm confused cause the owner said it runs off a MAP and MAF kinda like my MR2T does?

No problem. Tommy is a cool guy. Knows his stuff. Im reppin the autobanh motorsports windshield decal all the way over here in florida. lol. I was out there for school the past 2 years, thats how I know about him and the shop

Good luck with the sensor. If he doesnt have it, Suns Auto should, since they always have jdm stuff coming in, but they usually dont like to part stuff out. Whos knows though, you might get lucky

 

its either or:

JDM motor = MAP
USDM motor = MAF

you dont run both... period

you might have a boost sensor, which is completely different, your MR2 uses a MAF (unless you've got a aftermarket standalone ECU)
