I don't know if this is the right place or not but I just got to ask this question. How hard is it to change the power steering pump on a 93 SC400? What type of specail tools od I need if I want to do it in my drive way?Can anyone help me out?

pretty basic I'd say as long as you can remember where everything goes back. You won't need any special tools unless you plan on rebuilding it yourself too (for that you need a slide hammer and a snap ring pliers)

you pretty much take off the air intake, and then it's clear to unbolt the ps pump.

 

Thanks did it today and steering wheel still a bit hard to turn.

 

Make sure you fill it up with fluid to where you should. Also try turning it back and forth a few times all the way and then recheck the fluid, sometimes you end up with air in the lines.
