New LCA's are on the way
Thanks to Carson Toyota, I have 2 new Supra LCA's coming my way. My question: From a mechanics' standpoint, is it easier to replace some of the other rubber stuff up there at the same time, like UCA bushings, steering bushings and other various and sundry as-yet-unidentified bushings?

Its a yes and no, from the stand point that everything is already open and it would be much more convenient to do it all at once yes its easier, the bad parts is that it will take you a hell of a long time, to do all that stuff your-self, and its a pain not to mention if you don’t have the right tools, you’d never get it done. If you are having a mechanic do it, then yes if you need anything else replaced near there have them do it all at once and it will save you a nice lil chunk of change.

Thanks for the advice. So if I've read correctly, that means doing the bushes on the upper control arms and the steering bushes too, so I guess I'd better get busy and call Vlamos, because that seems to be the way to go to me. Next task: The rear suspension. One thing a t time.

Tj for the most part you usually will not need to replace the upper bushings, and if you do your ride will become a bit rough, but its up to you because you do gain a lil bit more performance out of it (i.e. better handling), Now the steering bushings would be a good call, because it will make the wheel much tighter/responsive and there will be less play in the wheel.
While they're down there replacing the LCA's just tell them to check the rest of your bushings. I wouldn't go out and buy new bushings unless they're definitely bad. It's very easy to check. The LCA's are usually the culprit. For a mechanic, it's about the same. From my limited experience with suspensions, having the right tools could save you half the time. If you plan on doing it yourself, you may want to do it in one long, long day.
