Default What to look out for when buying a sc?

Hey, im new and looking to buy a sc300 or sc400.
I heard that there can be electrical problems with these cars and if one thing goes wrong, there will be more going wrong.

Only electrical problems I've heard of that happen in most SC's are clusters, and those arent even really electrical. Also they are easily replaceable. Haven't heard anything with the SC4's aside from those engine leaks onto the alternators, again, a one time fix.

Quality vehicles = Satisfaction.

I've had NO problems whatsoever with my SC3, EVER (electrical or mechanical). I used to have a dead battery ever 4 days, but the wiring in the trunk with my sub woofer/third brake light was messed up after having a spoiler added on. Had everything rewired, no more dead batteries. Once on the highway, I picked up a leaf and somehow it managed to get itself clogged in the intake. Car died, had it towed, leaf removed, no problems anymore. I don't know how that happened, I'm guessing it was a once in a lifetime thing.

From what I've gathered, things to look out for are:

Front Lower Control Arm Bushigns
Motor Mounts
Transmission Mount
Power Steering Pump

On the interior, common problems are:

Climate Control LCD Screens
Flickering needles on the gauges
Crack in the window sill
Cracks in the plastic surrounding the central vents
Cracked/Torn leather

Also check out the timing belt, serpentine belt, water pump, and hoses.

Good luck

oh well the electrical problems usually stem from cars that are from NY and more specifically from a hobbit guy named Dazienlex.

but we won't go there. But I and Dx3 can say, swapping wiring harnesses isn't that hard!
