i started my sc today cuz it hasnt been started in about 3days now. well when i finished warming up my car i turned it off and i turned on the alarm while im still inside the car. once i did that i noticed that my driver side door locks did not lock. so i tryed pushing the power door lock button and it did the same thing. only way to lock the door is to manually push it to the lock position and that way it locks the door. when im ouside the car and turn the alarm on i open the driver side door and alarm does not go off but when i close it then it goes off. can anyone tell me whats wrong with the door?

From the limited info you have provided I would venture to guess the door lock actuator is bad.

Do a search on door locks and you'll get tons of info on this issue.
