Picked up my new turbo today...

GT40 housing 67mm compressor, Hi flowed ported shroud (Anti surge housing)

I need a new manifold now though... Can't seem to get a response from Wasabi garage about one of thier manifolds. Anyone ever get any response from them ??

She will be going on to another UK Soarer..... In other words a good home.

 

I can only hope to have my engine bay look that good some day. Very nice work.

im currently in the process of powdercoating EVERYTHING on my 1jz chrome. the few hrs it took to take off the intake manifold, it sure better be worth it!

How much power will the new turbo bring?

 

The turbo is rated for 700hp in the right application. I am looking to get 500ish at the wheels...

Will see how it goes, it is still early days as I still need to upgrade a few bits like my intercooler and beef up the transmission some.

 

That's a beautiful turbo...and an even more beautiful engine bay!

 

Will you be at TOTB?

 

No, I'm not ready for that yet, still much to do before I take her down the strip. I hope to have it all ready by Sept for a run at Crail in Scotland.
