Default Part Out SC?

Hi, I have a SC400 parts car I have been keeping around but I think I am thinking about going ahead and getting rid of it to pursue my project with a newer one. The parts car is a 1992 SC400 completely stock. I was simply wondering how much I could expect to see from completely parting out the car and if it was actually worth it to. The only two parts I would say are issues is the exhaust and a leak in a radiator hose. Rest of the parts are all there, car has had a salvage title. The engine runs strong and the leather has no tears but the regular wear ou see the wrinkles and such. If you could tell me on avg. how much a person receives for a part out I'd be thankful it has the Nak system too. And a 97 complete rear end.

I appreciate the interest but I am more interested in seeing how much people get for parting out an SC. After I get an estimate and price out things THEN I can start thinking about dibs and such.

to completely part out the whole car you will need 4 to 6 months, maybe more, so if you have that much time - go for it
to save yourself numerous trips to the post office i'd ship once or twice a week, unless you live within walking distance to it
when i parted out mine (2 actually)i made about 4 grand but in the end i had a crapload of stuff left + 2 shells, i ended up chopping them up and taking it to the scrap yard
heavy/big items will take forever to sell due to shipping being expencive unless someone local scoops it up, i still have about 2 3x3x1 boxes full of stuff, i gave away alot too
if you decide to do it pm me for e-bay selling tips if you want
or if you have specific questions, fire away

Its up to you. You set the reasonable prices to the parts you want to get rid of. For example, if you want to get rid of something fast you sell it for dirt cheap for fast sale and if you want alot for a part that is in high demand then you set it at a reasonable level and have people sort of outbid each other. But yeah its mostly up to you. Use good judgement. After all it is a lexus. I think you can get a great deal of money by parting it out. Good Luck.

For the Nak, I just got $230 for the headunit and cd changer and $330 for the amp. So thats pretty good right there.

not really, but if you been through the entire car more than 3-4 times that certainly sticks to ya
