Default MSD Install

I searched.. , I asked questions.. , I had someone from redline performance try and install it.. , and went to a shop and got quoted a rediculous *** price..

Has anyone upgraded their ignition on their SC300 using the MSD 6AL w/8910 tach adaptor? I want to know what coil you used and if you can draw me a diagram or give me step by step instructions on how to do the install. I am desperate. Ive had my MSD sitting on my desk for about 4 months now. Someone please help..

Is a tach adapter really necessary? Did anyone try running the MSD unit without running the tach adapter. Also Jspec, I read that the 6AL can act as a rev limiter or something so you won't overrev, how do you enable that? I'm about to install my MSD ignition right now. I'm just waiting on the tach adapter.

Hey aren't you scnat? Anyways, is this the "pill". It says 8000 on it. Where can I find one that's around 67-6800?

Also on the other side of the MSD unit, there's this circle thing. I heard you were supposed to cut some wires depending on how many cyclinders you car has. I heard it comes stock ready for 8 cyclinders. What happens if you don't adjust it and the MSD thinks your car is 8 cyclinder?
