Well I took the car to another mechanic today and he swears my problem is with the shocks. The shocks are shot. He checked the bushings and confirmed what the other mechanics found. Namely that the bushings are good. Both the LCA bushings and the steering rack bushings. So, tomorrow I'm getting the shocks replaced. Hope this fixes the problem. So far I've gotten: new tires, replaced a frozen front right brake caliper, replaced the left rear ball joint, had a front end aligned and, had the 4 wheel alignment done three times - and I still have the same problem. I'm running out of money!!

I'll let you know if replacing the shocks fixes the problem.

Ok. I had the shocks replaced with KYBs. Car rides better but after one day of driving, the car started to wander again. Brought it back and they realigned the rear end. Most of the fish tailing went away but I still have a wandering front end. We'll see if the alignment holds but my guess is that the rear end will go out again. Mechanic swears the bushing are good.

Yep, the rear end is acting up again. I guess I need to start listening to you guys and just replace the LCA bushings and steering rack bushings whether or not the mechanic says they are good!
