Default soarer 5-speed

Is it possible to get a 5-speed soarer from japan? Most of the importers I call say they've never seen one.

Hope you did a search...

5-speed Soarers are pretty rare (apparently only 5~10% were made manual).

Did all the manual soarers without vvti have an R154 tranny? What kind of price are you guys paying for the manual clips and where are you getting them from? They seem to be the hardest ones to find. Also has anybody got the digital cluster and made it work?

Pretty sure that every manual 1JZ soarer had an R154, regardless of the year. Only difference was in the shifter mechanism

I know they import every now and then. try contacting them and see what they can do for you. They are pretty dam hard to find here in the US. One thing is for sure about those Soarers..they will never pass smog unless you pull some strings. Goodluck on your search!
