Question

What is the best exhaust for my money that improves performance????? It seems like a lot of people around here like GReddy but i thought that riceboys got their exhaust from GReddy and i dont wanna sound like a riceboy. Am i wrong?????I know that most riceboys just buy a tip, but i also thought that some buy the whole exhaust system. What other companies are out there that would look good on my 92 SC300 and increase my performance (i know none w/ increase it a lot seeing as i dont have a tc or sc) but wont cost me an arm an a leg (im only in highschool)??????

You're not likely to feel any performance increase with any exhaust. The sound might make it seem faster, but it won't be.

I do not think the Greddy exhuasts sound that lound on the SC because of the bigger engine size. it will not sound like those misquito sounding riceboy 4 bangers.

You will get a nice growl, but not that annyoing WHEEEEEEEEY sound.

First and most importantly, dont waste your $ buying a whole cat back system...to acheive aprox 6-9 more hp and get a nice tone out of any SC, all you need to buy are a pair of nice mufflers. We have about 20 differnet stainless mufflers with a variety of diffent tips, fulley polished, all are "straight thru" designs for maximum flow...and usually out of our selection we can get anyone a nice pair with the looks they want for under $350 for the pair. All you do is take them to your local reputable muffler shop in your area and have them installed onto the stock piping. Something like this pic here on our car (but I had new larger pipe done because of the 20psi of boost Im running...)
