The 97 Conversion looks hot!
Dennis, how long did the conversion take you to do or did you have someone install it?
Talking about ignorance...I only had the SC since 1993, did not even know that the 97+ years had a different body style (guess I knew the tailights were different).
Thanks guys. A lot to chew on.

Giving a lot of these ideas strong considerations. Will be able to see how the car looks this evening and if I will have them do the rest of the car (to include the roof).
The front end was perfect before the dealership drove it through the garage (I had the front end re-painted last year when someone backed into the Lex while it was parked).
I am short on time and long on ideas (just got back from the Middle East last week, and heading back next Saturday for the final six-month of my tour).

Good luck on the tour in the Middle East...Keep safe so you can come back and enjoy your car, no matter how you decide to prepare your whip.
I agree, even though the 97+ refresh is standard on the 97 and up model, it really freshens up and modernizes the car. It is indeed like a body kit because it adds the new front bumper, grille, much more modern fogs, side rocker panels and rear bumper. In fact, the cleanest after-market kit (Auto Couture, IMO), has a very similar look to the 97+ refresh. Just that front lip on the Auto Couture is really nice . If I could add that to the 97+, voila , the best of both worlds, IMHO. My reasoning, both the 97+ refresh and the AC are very clean, and flow with the lines of the SC. Nothing looks added on. The added benefit of the 97+ refresh...URETHANE, 100%, and PERFECT fitment. If yours is a daily driver, urethane is far better.
My $.02 worth...
