post a direct link to the video..,

if youre the premium member, just goto where the video download link is
right click on that link, click properties, and copy that address

take that address and paste it here, so CL can download it directly from this thread

i'd do it for you, but i already downloaded.. and they don't want to give me the link anymore
they say i already downloaded once so i can't again

didn't hear the car yet, but the car should not be to loud. at 85k it should still whistle.

when stock lexus' are at idle you shouldn't even know that it's on.

the more engine noise=not good

Doesn't sound too loud. Sounds like it MAY have something done to the exhaust but overall it sounds very smooth and nice. Its really hard to tell from the video, but look under the car and see if you see new piping or if the resonators are still there.

Hello,

I think it sounds a little loud. It reminds me of my car before I replaced the clutch. As you know you have to remove the rear catalytic converter to gain access to the transmission. Once my mechanic removed that part, the element inside the converter came down in pieces. I had a busted converter, but it sounded alright until it was taken apart. That car may have the same problem, which is nothing major, unless you have to replace the clutch. Then again, thats a possibility, I am not sure, but it does sound a little loud and very similar to my car.

thanks for your help. i looked under the car from the rear to lookit the rear section of the exhaust piping, that looked like it's stock. i didnt pay enough attention to the section towards the engine though. ill have another look at that. i ran a carfax report and everything is good to go.

the thing that makes me think it's not the exhaust though, is that the noise comes from the engine, i cant hear the exhaust at all

Honestly, thats what my car sounds like now that I think about it before I got my exhaust done. That doesnt' really seem that loud, the only way to compare though is find another SC.
