thanks guys...
lexant... that thing that you're seeing is aluminum sheeting that i fabbed up real quick in an effort to make scrape plates for the kit. I scratched the kit twice on the way home from the body shop. And one more time going up my driveway (my driveway it a lot meaner than my friend's driveway which you see in the pics) so i figured I'd eventually grind off a hole in my bumper sooner or later. So i made the scrape plates to stop that from happening.
Yea the kit is from *****ty VIS and the fitment issues were the front and rear bumpers. The rear leaves a slight gap on the sides. And the way it bolts on is weird. The body shop had to pop rivet a few things. As for the front bumper.... they had to do a little bit of shaving for the bolts to line up... but even tho it bolts on now... the bottom sides of the bumper flare out ridiculously.... couldn't really do much about that.
With that said... sometimes i wonder why i even bother trying to protect it.

How did you do the housing on the turn signal part of your headlight. In one picture it looks completely black but in another it looks clear with a small tint, looks cool. Did you just paint the whole housing black?

the run signals ..... i dunno.... maybe it's just the angle.... one of the shots shows a little bit moisture that got trapped when i washed the car. its just painted housings
if you're talking about the sidemarkers.... that was a custom deal.... it's just a piece of fiberglass that's been outlined in black (piece courtesy of rscott)
as for the tails... i'm still unsure of what route i want to take... i definately want to get rid of that amber and continue with the black/white scheme i've got going. I wish someone made exhaust tips the same finish as the emblem.
No shots of the interior as of right now.... the body shop actually ruined it quite a bit (i was pissed) but i will soon when my audio/video is done.
and as for the front page of CL..... where do i sign up?

i love your "custom" calipers. haha
looks 1000x better after the color sanding was done. The tips are a wee bit of a disappointment after what used to be on your car but still cool nonetheless. You should tint the top half of the tail lights to stay with your theme (then let me know how it turns out...im thinking about it too)
All i would say you need to do is throw on a wing to even out the flow and seal up the lights and youll be good to go on your...other...plans =)
come to LA...we can have a headlight bake. (and cookies and brownies too)
everyone else is welcome, bring carne asada or cookie mix.

haha... those calipers took a lot of grinding to fit them into the damn wheels...
i was thinking about tinting the amber portion of the tails.... but not sure how to go about doing so yet....
and as for the headlights.... fricken pissed me offf.... i spent a good few days sealing them back together.... and they still moisten up... not as bad as before tho
and yea.... the tips do suck compared to what used to be on there..... *sarcastic tone* "so what kind of tips do you have on your car?"
