I can honestly and wholeheartedly say that it's not pleasing to my eyes at all. You asked and I'm being honest. Textured paint belongs on houses, not cars...and if you wanted the spoiler to stand out more you should have gotten a different spoiler because that looks mismatched and out of place. Again, just being honest

When you say "texture" it makes me think "orange peel" and when I think orange peel I think cheap paint job....

This car looks great I love the rear spoiler and front spoiler being the same color, Like I said before, the spoiler the same color as the car, just was not noticable enough, NOW its PERFECT!!.. you never heard of powder paint? how old are you ? that might explain the reason why.. any way. again thanks for your objective opinions. everybody has there own taste, even if it is bad. MINE(of course is the good kind) lol.. any way. IM right , your wrong.. nah nah nah lmao. I LOVE THIS SPOILER PAINT JOB!!

My age doesn't matter, it's about as relative as my annual income or the square footage of my home in this case. You asked what people thought of your spoiler project and asked for real responses, I gave you one...and so did many others. You like it and that's all that matters, just like people driving around with hideous stickers all over their car or grapefruit launchers for exhausts like those things whereas I think it's hideous, period. I think a large part of your giddiness over this distasteful experiment is based on your previous love affair with a Ford vehicle

baby powder goes on the asses of babies, not the asses of cars...

Lol, thanks bro...just trying to keep the mood light. It's not that I don't like HIM or his car, I just don't like THIS particular project or it's end result, that's all

This kind of reminds me of when daizenlex redid his engine bay with the "demon air box". Many people didn't like it. But its your car so...

whatever floats your boat.

Ha ha ha, hey Wyatt...then you must be 6 years old like me (see question posed above, "how old are you?") because even though I've owned several cars and dealt with several different paint jobs and paint shops I've never heard of this wierd mixture either. If one wants to add texture to paint there's better additives than baby powder I believe.

Powder coating is a method by which electrically charged powder coating material is spray-applied to a grounded work piece. Electrostatic attraction holds the powder to the part to be coated until heat is added to flow the powder together and cure it.
An electrostatic powder coating system is comprised of a powder feeder, power unit or electrostatic voltage generator, electrostatic spray gun(s), and a powder recovery system
Please tell me this isn't a ghetto way of powder coating.

OMG THERE IT IS!!! Hahaha awesome. and whats up Mike, long time, no PM haha

Anyway, Im still curious about the powder paint. Texture in car paint is just stupid IMO, like those "lace" paint accents used in some muscle cars

I don't understand how you were able to mix the paint with baby powder. Baby powder clumps easily. Instead, did you lace the spoiler with the baby powder and spray over it?

I'm interested in this baby power thing as well. I'm only 32 so I might be too young since I never heard of it. Then again, I'm not too knowledgeable about painting either although it is something I want to learn. That is why I'm curious about the reasons and/or techniques in where baby powder would be used.

BABY POWDER???? Is this a ghetto version of powdercoating? I think the spoiler being in a different color is tacky. It kinda makes you look like you couldn't afford to paint it and just could not wait to put it on....almost like those ricer civics who put on their unpainted body kits.

"I wish I had 4 hands, so I can give it.... 4 thumbs down "

However, what ever tickles your pickle man. It's your car.
