i did a search and didn't find anything but.... i remember a website that was selling 1UZFE engines that were built for race cars... the prices were pretty good. something like 3k for a rebuilt 400+ hp NA engine. anyone know of any companies that are doing the same or know what i'm talking about?

 

Interesting, although I doubt this is available.

400+ hp for 3k? That would eliminate any reason to go turbo or supercharged. Had this been true, people would be all over this.

 

Actually, i am building a V8 motor right now. We are going to order the forged pistons and Thanks for TM Engineering, he donated a set of custom forged rods. We are trying to use 2JZGTE Valve parts to work on the 1UZ. The parts are very similar.

Here is what i have plan

Forged Rods, Forged Pistons, Arp Rod Bolts, ARP Main Bolts, ARP Head studs, Multi Layer Steel Gaskets, 2JZGTE valves, 2JZGTE springs, 2JZGTE retainers, 2JZGTE locks plus some heads work. I have most of the parts already.... just waiting for the forged pistons....

I am also making a twin turbo headers for the V8 and most likely to run a pair Garrett GT30R. Once i got the engine done and turbo then i will look for a roll chasis SC400 yes, slowly but surely...

It will be very exciting time....
