Isn't it though? It's like watching an impending train wreck. He's gonna go and buy that crap and then come back here crying about it and we'll say "we told you so"...

You can only do so much to try to help and educate people, some things are best learned the hard way unfortunately Lee.

I remember a member on this forum who paid $1000 for a Vertex kit ($2500 value) only to discover that it was a knockoff VIS kit put into a genuine Vertex box.

The kit retails for $2500. The guy selling it to you is selling it to you for $600. No idiot will take a depreciation hit of $1900 no matter how stupid he is. You are getting ripped off.

Remember the old saying:
If something sounds too good to be true it probably is.

But I think I'm just wasting my time because you already have your mind set on buying the "authentic" do-luck kit. Good luck with fitment issues.

see, i HAD that kit, and there's no way in hell that it's that cheap for an AUTHENTIC kit. Mine was all real, and stamps on them and everything. Fit perfectly, NO mods, NO shaving, NO cutting of anything. I guess he'll learn the hard way. Im sure if i buy a fake kit, I have the Glass skills to work on it, but i doubt he does.

Just let him get the "real" and "legit" kit. He'll see....
