Anyone know if you can flush the tranny fluid on an SC3 your self? I heard that on a LS4, all you do is disconnect the tranny lines that are going to the cooler, spitting old fluid into a tub, the other sucking up new fluid from a clean tub. Is this do-able on a SC3? Anyone done it before?

 

All auto transmissions are flushed the same way- via the lines that feed the ATF to and from the radiator, although some DIYers use the dipstick tube to add the ATF.

After you do that, you can maintain the freshness of the fluid by draining what's in the pan(2 qts.) every couple oil changes, and top it off again.
I drive the car fairly hard, can tell the difference if I don't do it.
