Hm , I couldve sworn I saw both of you guys this past weekend at Pops diner parking lot with a bunch of 240sx's and what not. If you can remember I was in my black GS4 honking and making a lil scene due to the fact of there being like 9302930 people just chilling in the middle of the parking lot.

yeah great shoot i agree.
hey dennis, do you use your sc as a daily driver or is it basically a once in a while time that you take it out? nice days and saturday evenings?
also, how is it getting around town with that kit and drop? ever go to manhattan with your car? or do you basically just try to stay as far away from messed up roads as you can?
reason i am asking for several reasons.. once i get my kit, and install my teins, im not sure if i should go with 19s or 20s.. i heard ride and quality is better with 19s, but if i want to fill in gap btwn my wheel and fender, i will really have to slam the car, not sure how much of a space that would leave between my car and ground.. i guess i'd have to be backing out of blocks with speed bumps right? lol
is that what you do? if you accidentally turn into a block with a speed bump, do you back out? or you just take it going slow?

You won't have to slam the car with 19's if you get the fatboy setup. That means 245-40 and 275-35. The gaps will be filled the same as if you got 20's using 245-35 and 275-30. The fat setup is also how 19's get that better ride you mentioned.
reggiek, if i get 19s w/ 40 and 35, wouldnt i be rubbing as if i were on 20s with 35 and 30 (after the drop)?
i dont really want to see much, if any at all, black space between my wheels and my fenders.. even if it means extensive fender mods and relocation of wiring harness.

I would recommend 20s for more leverage..Difference in ride difference btw 19s and 20s can't be judged by just rims and tire size...The tire quality accounts for ride comfort also...Originally Posted by 1993SCTT

To tell you the truth, my 20s ride better than my 18s for some reason...My 18s were too much on the rough side because my Toyos ride more comfortable than my Dunlops...
I'm always in Manhattan with my car...I park on the street most of the time also....If your a good driver than you'll know how to get around town without F***ing up your own car...Use common sense bro..

Shouldn't rub, especially with the right offset....40 and up. I don't have any rubbing with this setup.Originally Posted by 1993SCTT

I didn't read your question well before but you asked about the fat setup on 20's. Yeah, that'll rub...I wouldn't do it. That's like getting 21's. On 20's you should go 245-35f and 275-30r.
