Default Late model SC400 LSD question

Anybody out there have a Supra 3.76 LSD in their late model SC400 (98-2000)? If so, is it a worthwhile investment? I have heard many good things from the GS400 guys which I assume have identical open rear diffs as the SC400's based on reading a few posts. I just wanted to get some opinions. Also I have heard mixed messages concerning the speedo recalibration issue. I have heard some say the speed sensor is on the tranny and some say it is on the front wheels. Can someone confirm if the speedo will need to be recalibrated or not?

Thanks,

If you put your rear end gear on the Supra Diff, you will not need to touch your Speed sensor.
I have a 93 SC400 and my sensor is on the transmission.
Also my 93 SC400 has a 3:73 Gear Stock, as I think most do.

Good stuff. Thanks for the info guys! Much appreciated. I will keep you posted when I finally get it done. I also plan on doing a write up when I decide to tackle the project..
