Looks great! The colours aren't too well matched (unless you plan to do the whole interior in that colour?) but it looks like a damn good finish

Oooh... I've got the same rosary you have hanging off the rear view too! lol

may this late breaking trend die a horrible death. I have tried this with every formula on the market and it ALL cracks and peels after a little use.

Then it looks even worse than before Enjoy.

imo- you should have just rolled around with ratty seats while you saved cash for some supra seats or for a kit from leatherseats.com

It looks really good man.. but its going to flake off pretty soon. Thats the only downside I see of it. And as for saving up for Supra seats... I got mine for FREE from a great Supraforum member!!! Free!!! In really good condition... all I have to pay for is shipping!!

*sigh* I understand that you are strapped for cash, but paint? Oh dear.... Well, it is a temporary fix for you I guess. I really hope that you are not going to continue this paint thing.

is this type of paint more suitable for dashes and such? I can see why you guys don't like it because it's on the seats, but is it a good idea for other pieces. say for changing to black interior scheme.

Din626 read my mind.... I'm thinking of trying this on some parts that are not touched often such as lower dash, door panel back..etc... I got some spares and I might give it a go... just wonder what type of sealant should be applied after...

This is similar to what dealerships do to there used cars. Next time you shop for a used car check out the leather front and back. Most of the time it will be two different colors.
But overall it does look better than the old one. Good job mungrin ! ! !

interesting.I knew it would crack here and there but i never thought it would flake. The paint i used i actually bought a year ago and sprayed it on a hole that i repaired on the passenger seat.It never flaked or anything and its been a year so i figured that it would okay for a while.I learned this method from someone else who sprayed thier seats and still waiting to hear from them to see if his seats are all flaked up.
Like i said before there is no way that it can be worse than before. My seats had holes in them so even if it does flake i dont care.I am still going to get some Katzkins byt he summer, just wanted to look a little better in the meantime.

eeeek. all this painting the interior stuff reminds me of the civic ricers who could not afford to redo their interiors and took the cheap ways out.
