I like the idea. Don't like the look of it so much. An extra wedge bulb is only going to create blur in your cutoff. Since you have the E46 retro, you don't have to worry too much about high beams.

yup, i just basically took out that parking light inside our headlight and moved them to the high beams. you can also make them brighter by replacing the wedge bulb to 4-led's and maybe it will look close to having a daytime running lights.........

my set up is not very noticeable during the day, only at night, unless i change the bulb to led's
