Default Question on shocks for 1" drop

I know that the KYB GR-2s are stock replacements, but can I still use it for a 1" drop using the Eibach Pro Kit?

The GR-2s came with my car when I bought it. I'm thinking that it should be able to hande a 1" drop right?

I believe your stock kyb's will not match the spring rate of the stiffer eibachs. Therefore giving you a bouncier ride than usual and eventually the kyb's will blow out quicker than normal. You can of course install the eibachs if you wish but Its just not recommended and would not give you the best ride compared to aftermarket shocks made for lowering springs.

I have "heard" that the KYB GR-2 replacments are significantly stiffer than stock. I just my pro kit too so I'm looking around as well. You'll have to let me know what you get and how you like it.

1.0" drop shouldn't affect the shocks adversely. 1.0" is fairly mild.

I did Tokico's, they work great with Eibachs, and you can find them on Ebay for $220 for 4.

A 1" drop with KYBs should be just fine.
Tokicos and KYBs are very similar with the major difference being in that the KYB dampening is adjustable.

Go for it!
