tks man. for the baffle, you just have to trim the sides a lot and apply some silicone for the air not to leak.
i have aftermarket head unit. i used the stock speaker wires for the speakers themselves.

guess i need to crack mine back open and give it another try, my woofer magnets seem to deep for the enclosure. im tried to squeeze some boston acoustic 5 1/4's in a while back with no luck, so they have been sitting in my closet for about a month now.

nice set of speakers.......but yeah, you cant have too much or too big of a magnet. i didnt even check the magnet
of my kicker midrange speakers if it will fit or not. luckily, it did................barely!!
took me 5hours to complete the job, though. just took my time on it and the end result was outstanding!
right now, im using some cheezy 4-chnl amp but i will be replacing it with some ADS amp.

You could fit up to 6 1/2s in front. I've placed my Dynaudio with custom made baffle.

From what I hear, those of us with the Nakamichi audio systems have to send our equipment in to an authorized repair facility to have it replaced/serviced now that they are out of business. Anyone know just how true that is?
