Philly#1 Lex,

Did you repaint the entire car or just the new OEM Lexus parts you installed for the coversion?

I did a complete repaint. My car needed it bad I had dings and scratches that needed to be redone. The new bumpers complied with alot of those problems, but I didnt want to have a two toned car so i redid the whole thing.

Default OEM Part fit?

Philly,

Did you install all your new OEM parts or did the body shop do it for you?

I'm curious how the new parts fit as I just ordered a SC conversion kit myself from Carson Toyota. I'm assuming everything just bolts on and the seams all line up....but just figured I'd ask.

Body shop did it. But it looks very easy to install. I am assuming it will somewhat time consuming though. It better to let the body shop install the pieces unless your are just go to take the pieces ther seperate and get them painted and then install yourself?

Harnesses aren't the same. Do a search on '96 tail lights' as there are many threads on what you need to do.

BTW....I'll have my set of used '96 lights for sale as soon as my 97+ lights show up.
