Default Gray interior!?!??!?!?!

Alright, this is finally pissing me off. I can not think of anyway of changing my inteior over to gray. I talked to the dealer and they say they can not get reaplacment interior panels, which is bull**** if you ask me. My oy owns a bodyshop out in Laurel and he can't do anything for me either. So I have come to this. What would you guys think of the getting the interior rewrapped in a dark leather. Would this be agood idea or is it spending more money than I should?

you need to locate a crashed sc and gut the interior. if you are serious about getting it done, contact me and I will try to help you get a wrecked one.

Hey Sinister I was thinkin the same thing except black and that burnt orange color that Leatherseats.com has....................It seems that you have done more reasearch than I have on the subject, I think that it would not be too hard, though I am not sure about the dash........with the airbag, that has now become two tone.......lol.

I am thinking of wraping the trim around the center console and the plastic pieces right behind the steering wheel. I think I am gonna give it a shot, and see how it turns out......though it will be awhile, I am about to relocate to another state for a better job!!! yahooooo!!

What have you found in your reasearch that has been the biggest hold-up? Or were you trying to only find replacement panels? ( Hell I need to replace mine anyway )

Oh I am also about to start reaserch on refinishing the wood trim, my clear coat is getting cloudy.

Hey Sinister,

what interior color do you have now?? If it's black, I'll trade you
I have the gray interior in my white SC....

Although I like the saddle leather interior in the newer SC430's

Did u try going to the Foreign Car Parts (Brandywine) right off Browns Station Road? My buddy that lives right there said there are a couple SC's in there, but i'd call first. 301-627-4265. Ive been trying to find time to go there and get some 95-96 tail lights. Good luck. BTW, do you ever cruise around the DC area? im trying to meet some lexus people.

Sinister, nobody said it was an easy task. first of all you havent really done much. you just went to the dealer (easy way out) and then asked your friend for connections(that failed too).

it is not hard to locate the pieces you are trying to find. it is just the availibility of the pieces. if you want a gray interior that badly, you can find Sc's in the junkyard with gray interior or you can re-wrap(like someone said) pretty much anything.

Hmm... maybe post something in the classified and offer to trade your interior with a gray one.
