still bone stock, but planning on some rims and a bumper, and paint it white. but till then, i guess i'm still part of this oddly colored clan

something about the color, rims, round form and the inner highbeams reminds me of my dad's taurus...

Default Lowered Yesterday

Well I finally have some reason to post

Lowered the car yesterday. The rears fit great with no rub and lots of clearance. Going to roll the front fenders on Thursday; The passenger side is ok, but getting rub on the drivers side over bumps/dips and hard turns.

The coils are set at their maximum height! Quite overkill, more adjustment would be nice, but I found them locally for a very reasonable price. Also scored the wheels from a nearby Chaser owner. Pretty happy with the look.

Can't recall the offsets, but they're around the 35 mark (i'll update when I check)

I hope you've relocated your harness already.

Thanks for asking, a good thing to bring up. Saw lots of threads mentioning that. Going to do that on Tuesday, along with the fender roll later in the week. Took up all my free time in the day to install the coils and then some. Wish I had more time to do it all at once, but i'm a busy guy.

Question Sun vs. Sandstone

A question for all the Sandstone owners that park in the sun - is it a death sentence, or does it hold up well under the sun?
In the past I've usually had my '92 covered or in the garage, but starting now it's spending most days in the southern California sun.
Am I asking for trouble? What eventually happens? Does the clearcoat become cloudy?
Can it handle a few years in the sun before I have issues or is this a pretty quick death-sentence?
I'd appreciate hearing anyone's experience after having their Sandstone in the sun for a while.
