Looks very very nice!

Right now I am saving for my turbo build, or GTE swap. But after that I will be getting wheels and suspension. Thanks so much for posting pics, now I finally know exactly how those wheels will look on the SC. Very sweet

TYRK RACING: yeah, im also thinking of putting a turbo kit in the future....im hoping before
end of this year. but i dont think i can use the same engine as it has a lot of miles, 171000.
i might just get another 2jzge and prep it a little so it can handle 300rwhp. i've got some parts
here now like injectors, smic, downpipe....i mean it's a start. it's not even nearly complete. i
will take my time on this project....

INDY, the car is with the wheels. a kit will completely change the car's look and then it'll be dope.

so far, so good

rbini100: oh yeah, it will definitely clear the big brake set-up......im waiting for the ls400 calipers i got from
aliga. i will install them and posts some pics later.

mr olt: tks for kind words.....yeah, im also considering a body kit in the future.......but not sure which one.
my choices were between the jic or the vertex. vertex kit costs so much but it looks great.....but i think im beginning to like the jic kit better for some reason......it does not look plain and simple but yet it gives that
aggressive mean look!!!....dont you agree?

hey, do you still have the group buy for modifying the background lighting on clusters and climate controls?

I haven't seen either of the two kits you mentioned look BAD on an SC so either will be great. ofcourse if you wanna be a big baller, get the AC kit, and call it a day

Indy, what's the offset on your wheels? I've been digging around for offset info to see if I can make this set of rims I have work for me. The wheels I have are 19x8 with a 45mm offset, not sure how tucked they will or won't be. Thanks.

with 19x8, it's kinda narrow, so it will not be flush with the body. your rims will sit inside a bit.

mikeloc: i think the offsets of the wheels were 37.....not sure though. but i tell you, the wheels espclly
the rear ones fully tucked-in perfectly...no rubbing on fenders at all. i can barely insert 1 1/5 fingers in there
heck.......how do you put 1 1/2 fingers there?...lol.
but, it's such a perfect offset and i even used the same wheels on my old 1st gen gs.....and it also tucked in.

isn't the higher the nbr of the offsets the more it sticks out and vice versa? or the other way around....damn, i dont remember...

I don't know either...Basically I want to know if I should even attempt to make these work of if it'll be too much hassel. I don't mind buying some H&R spacers, but I don't want to go through with the project if I have to do too much modding to make them fit. damn damn damn, it can't be this hard...with all the guys who have rims on here someone has to know how this offset thing works...I guess the only way is to go out and put them on the car and physically measure it for myself. No one else seems to have concrete info as to how offsets work with regard to this situation. Not even rim shops for some reason. Like I said, it can't be rocket science...it's a simple math equation...stock wheels 16x7 with 50mm offset...switching to 19x8 inch rims with 45mm offset...what is necessary to make the wheels flush to the fender? anyone?

I saw that but wanted a little more detail as in whether or not i should even attempt it. I found out from a rim company that a 35mm offset would be the ideal offset for my car, being as these have a 45mm offset I have to figure out how to deal with that extra 10mm. I was thinking of some H&R spacers but they only come in 5mm and 15mm (of course)...so now I'm debating, 5mm spacers up front and 15mm spacers in the rear?...if anyone knows how close SC's offsets are to 1st gen GS's then I'll have all the info I need. Searching has yet to unveil the stock offset of a 1st gen GS...I know stock offset of the SC's is 50mm, and I know what the wheels look like on a 1st gen GS with spacers, so if I can find out the stock offset of a 1st gen GS I'm done researching...
