what up guys...
im planning to drop my car with tt shocks and tein springs......
i will run 19's all around, 19x8.5 and 19.9.5......but not sure the offset of the wheels.
i see "38" for the fronts but i dont see it fr the rears.......it also says "38"......but that's impossible
since it's different sizes......

so you guys think the tires will rub on the fenders? oh yeah, i will be running 275/30/19 on rear and
245/35/19 up front.

many tks.

its doable but theyll likely rub. My rears are the same size with a +37 offset. Had to roll the fenders.

Hey rscott

I noticed you've rolled your arches so that your wheels dont rub. I take it as you've rolled the front arches aswell???

Well if you have how did you do that? My local bodyshop is telling me to get stuffed coz they think rolling the front arches is near impossible. So how have you got round yours, whats the process involved?

Did your paint crack? Did you actually get them ROLLED or CUT? And how did they re-seal the plastic lining back to the the fender after that?

Please help me as my front arches are catching and i aint getting no help from the bodyshops!!!!

i didnt roll the fronts. only my rears rubbed. I got no paint cracking but what actually happened was they rolled one side and cut the other. They rolled one side first and intended to roll the otherside as well, but because there was a small ding right above the wheel well, they couldnt roll that one or else the ding would get worse so they cut and sealed that side.

So you never dod your fronts then!!!! Theres only 1 word that springs to mind - BUGA!

Now im screwed coz no 1 will touch the front arches in terms of rolling or cutting.

is BUGA good or bad
excuse us americans =)

Do your front rub?
I find that when mine do rub, they do so only after large bumps when going in straight lines, and even the, its only the passenger side and its not on the fender lip, its on the inner fender plastic cover. Also, when i take "spirited" left turns, while the wheel is turned to full lock and weight shifts, the arch hits the wheel. In Both cases, rolling the fender wouldnt help. What i did was install the fron TT sway bar because i figured it would prevent more independent shock travel and would help the problem since it was only the passenger side. Ive been driving with the sway in for over a week and it did indeed help with the rubbing. It takes a monster of a dip at freeway speeds and a full car load of passengers to make it rub going straight now. As far as those "spirited" left turns, it takes a lot more spirit for them to rub now.
Another alternative would be to take the wheel to a machine shop and have them lathe off a bit of the inner wheel hub to bring it in a little. This might not be an option if you have bigger brakes, but you can gauge how much clearance youll need. It basically changes your offset to what you need.

Good luck with your project and i hope this helps
