Unhappy

Went to watch the street drags with a few friends and a crew from another website ...As more cars showed up it kinda turned into this big 'Import vs. Domestic' stupidity challenge.....We win a few.... and lose a few but then they start talkin major trash ( I usually dont buy into it) but they called a friend up to come race with his souped up ride....Now im hearing it from my guys as well...so i call home and have my girlfriend bring up the 'other' car ...she runs ....she wins and takes a few bucks as well ( the guy was running a very nice saleen)....So we're heading home and i pulled on the side of her ( im in the 400) and started to speed up around a corner... she flashes her lights and started to go around me to pass....but right when she got next to me the back tire blows on my car and runs right into her!....Both cars damaged at @ 80-90 mph
And I had just put new wheels on the BMW less than a week ago ...one ruined.
......dont think ill be calling the insurance company for this one......there goes my summer.
Guess i learned my lesson......

Default Sorry to hear about this...

Wow..that was a very scarey accident. I'm glad no one was hurt. Accidents like that usually happen after nights like that I guess. A harsh lesson to learn(makes all of us speed demon wannabes stop and think..well..at least me).

So you say the SC and the Bimmer are beyond repair?
Is anything salvageable? The inteiror components..etc?

I know this may be an awkward time, but you may be able to sell salvageable parts of the car before you completely scrap it. I may be a buyer too.

Let me know.

Wut care would you replace these w/after you receive the insurance money?

Anthracite. aka Spirit
p.s. I guess the carbon fiber hoods are indefinitely put on hold...

Manaray:
The BMW is V12 Dinan tuned 850 ( both chips)
With a bunch of other things here and there(HID lights, interior)
The SC400 was just getting started..All it has is intake, exhaust and a serious video/audio system
-------------------
Anthracite SC:
The total price for both cars is @ 7 grand ....because of the nature of the accident i will not put it on my insurance co. Plus there are no other cars that i like The 850 was my dream car and i always said that if i couldnt get one that id get an SC400...It worked out......The only other car that i would consider
is around $250.000 and im sad to say that its not gonna happen anytime this year LOL
The parts for the 850 are very hard to come by so ill store it for now and continue with the SC400 because it's damaged the least ( exhaust and body ) .Ive worked really hard to find stuff for the SC so it was easy to pick it over the BMW ( plus its cheaper, easier and quicker to fix!!)
I've started to get parts already and should have the bodywork finished by next week...i hope.
As for the hoods...I thought it over after your last email and i think that i will pursue it.....
Drop me an e-mail

Sorry to hear about the accident. Did you say in the last post that you would be interested in selling salvagable pieces of your sc? Is it a sc400 what year? You can email off the list, dr1moe@yahoo.com

I was looking for the RED led lights in the dash and lexus radio with cd button and with cd-changer.

BTW, will any cd-changer work with the orginal lexus radio aslong as it has cd button?
