My new SP71 Dyno numbers!
This past saturday we held a Chi2k4 Supra event at SP in Illinois. The turn out was awesome!!! Saturday was the dyno day, and Sunday the track day. Even though it did rain a bit on Saturday, there was a massive crowd. I decided to throw my car on the dyno to turn up the boost from last time. So here are the results
@30psi
698rwhp
640rwtq
The car is running a bit rich, and timing is pretty conservative, so I know I can hit 700+rwhp on these stock cams

On another note:
We went to do a 1/4 mile pull on the dyno, and while shifting into 2nd, we snapped the driveshaft
I knew that thing wasn't going to last too long. Better that to give then the 6spd or the diff. This was a custom supra tt driveshaft that Toyomoto lengthened for me, unfortunately they didn't lenghten it enough, so only a small part of the rear half shaft section, inserted into the front half shaft. So I basically just stripped all thos splines right off. Here is a picture of the aftermath.
Should be ready tomorrow with a 1 piece custom drive shaft made by SP.
Pics and videos will be posted soon
Chris

Did you get the methanol kit in yet?
So the toyo driveshaft wasn't under warranty?
I may try to make a call, we'll have to see.
I think Overclocker (Wolf) got it on tape. It was some crazy stuff. Nice work on the car Chris.
Too bad you didn't stick around for my car on a dyno. By far the most quiet car there.
Chris

As for the drive shaft, SP has created a gorgeous 1 piece custom unit. self centering CNC'd aluminum flanges, 3" steel shaft and heady duty U-joints. This is basically the same shaft they have on there 9.0 sec drag car
It should handle pretty much everthing I throw at it, including 2 step launches!! This new one feels solid, no vibration at all. Here are a couple pics of the flanges.

I talked to Wolf and he should have some stuff hosted soon. Sorry about having to miss your maiden run with your swapped SC. I'll see it again soon.

Jon, I've been watching over your car since it arrived.. They're taking good care of it, and hopefully it will be back in your driveway soon enough.
Thanks for the compliments Tony, I can't wait for those vids!!!!
