Niceeeeeeeeeee I like it with the hood pins. Look even more aggressive. Even though you have nothing under the hood. With the hoodpins, you just made onlookers think you got the Swap. LOL

I took issue with my hood. The amount of pinholes and surface cracks from de-molding (I guess) really disappointed me. Overall, I think the general appearance of the hood on the car is satisfactory. I guess I couldn't expect much more for the money. It was definitely a learning experience. The hood requires fairly heavy modification to fit correctly. Flopping is mentioned also, I do not notice that (yet) on mine. I mounted mine slightly different than the rest though I think.

As far as GTP goes, there are far better places to order a part from. I did finally get my hood after pointing out that I had been charged for it. But never did get a straight answer on the status of a cf front end. All I wanted was a status and explanation. They could not even call me back when I requested because they "spilled a drink" on my phone number. I won't do business with them again. It is up to anyone else thinking of doing so - to do so at their will. Maybe service is better for the locals.

Hood looks good though - nice job.

I think it looks good. I thought that hood required you cut some off in the corner to get it to close. Anyone heard of that? BTW ... I think there are a few of these hoods for sale on ebay. I don't think they would look good on my red sc. Black is cool though.

It will need material cut for the safety hooks clearance in the cf hood. Easy to see if you know what you're looking for. A 3/8 bit and a dremel work well. Use safety glasses and a respirator. If you want to use your quality oem mounting bolts (12mm head - 8mm shank); then you will need to drill and tap out the supplied mount holes. A bunch of stacked washers. The end washers like to pull out - so have some 2 part epoxy or poly to re-cure it in place. Then there is the washer nozzles. Wish they didn't even have them. Totally wrong size - spent 2 hours on that trying to do it nice. The rubber bumpstops for height position - those holes will need to be worked on too. I left the oem latch mechanism mount with the supplied bolts. That's fine. Didn't even check the strut mount location - don't plan to use any - at this point. The fact that there are a bunch for sale on e-bay should be first clue -

for the price - they are what they are

i didn't need to cut anything on mine, the holes were there already.....i think when they were prototyping it and test fitting it they found that they needed to make those holes, so when they started making these hoods, they came with the holes already, i didn't have any issues on mine......there weren't even any holes for the windshield nozzle things

yea, i wouldn't do anymore business with GTP cuz when i first inquired about my hood, the guy there was PMSing at me giving me attitude and what not.....my friend talked to him and he too got *****ed at by them...but as for my hood, i did a thorough inspection of it, if i saw any scratch, id tell them to fetch me a new one or id say "i won't buy this"

sorry you had bad experiences with them awj
