Modify 94SC400 or newer??

Modifying SC400??
Ok my question to the 'tuners' out there is this.
Should I start upgrading my 94 SC400 w/94K miles or should I upgrade the car to say a 98 and start with the upgrades after I absorb the cost of upgrading the car?
My 94 is in excellent condition but the mileage is what bothers me. Will I end up running into problems with my car? I am looking into a ECU, torque converter, transmition valve body upgrade, and super charger. The latter being first choice if I can find one for the car.
I agree with many of the other posts I've read today we need MORE aftermarket.......
