Does anyone know where I can or if I can get custom rear lights for my 92' SC4?

Default good idea

i was wondering if they made clear tails for sc's.. i was thinking about painting some. i wanted to give mine a different look from the rest. it would be a lot easier if they had some that were already 'custom'

At ***************** they have the front orange bumber light in the clear color. (if you look at the pic, it looks like it is still orange around the side). They say they are working on some rear clear lights, but they need someone to send theirs in so they can do it right. I don't think im willing to send mine in but if u want to check it out go to *****************

I don't know if i would trust them. That pic with the clear corners is a photoshop job and i remember visiting that site roughly a year ago and they said they were working on some rear clear lights. i don't think that they are going to come through with them.

i went to another forum and got a few suggestions on how to take apart the tailights, but i don't know if i want to chance it and risk permanently damaging the tailights (expensive to replace). it looks like if you want modified tailights, you're going to have to do it yourself. i might mess around with one of my tailights this weekend, if i do, i'll post what i've found out.

its not that difficult to do. i did it on my old honda. the hard part is sealing the light water tight afterwords.
what im doing is getting a set of rear lights from a salvage yard, roughly around 150 a light, that way i have both custom and stock. there is a company that has clear side markers there out of japan they go for around 100-200, i saw someone write about them here in this forum somewhere. ill let u know how sandblasting goes

i havent had time to play w/ the lights yet. my clutch and timing belt went kablooey, so im in the processes of doing some major rework on the car, to upgrade some things when i finally play w/ it ill make sure to keep u guys informed, w/ some pics as well.
i did however tint the yellow turn signal, and i think it gives it very unique look for very cheap. my car is burgandy so the black lights look very good b/c the red brake lights match w/ the color of the car, and i have limo tinted windows, im taking lots of pics this weekend after i get the car back from the shop, ill post them as soon as i can
