Question

Anyone out there ever pull the dash from a coupe? Is there room front and center for a 5" speaker? If it will take longer than a day, forget it. But it would be nice, I have installed 2 6.5's in the rear deck, 2 under the rear armrests and 4.5 in the doors (all diamond hex). The rears will be run down to 2ohms off a 4 channel high current Audiobahn, or at 4ohms off a 6ch.

The stock sub will be pulled also - and a kicker solo 12 in the trunk (maybe 2 10's).

Sorry Percy - I got the diamonds, not dyns... (so do you own their stock or rep for them????? - LOL)

Hello,

You will probably spend the hole day in pulling out and putting back the dash. You may want to get the manual. If you are very familiar with the job you could do it in 4-6 hours. Remember, you will have to take off the steering wheel, center console, and all the bottom trim parts. When I take off the dash, I remove the two front seats for better working space. Hope this help.

Abdulrahman

P.S I don't know if there is enough space down there, I never paid attention to that.

What are you nuts? Cutting into the factory dash to install a speaker? First of all it won't fit. Its just too dam tight under the dash. And second why would you want to ruin you SC?
