hey everybody.
i've come to this site because i am now very serious about buying an sc300 for my very first car. since my dream car is a Supra (like everybody else ) i though it would be a great place to start. i have many questions and i was wondering if there was some "FAQ" offered so i can learn all the basics without starting a bunch of threads (not my first forum, i know what its like )

so i just need an informational website to kick me off. and also. does anybody have a sc300 history. like which colors and how many models of this and that with manuals or a/t was made in each year. that would be extremely helpful. my budget is right now about $8-9k. i have been searching around and have found a few good deals in that range or significantly under.

OH, and by the way. i see that one of my neighbors has a "club lexus soarer" sticker on the side window. it looks to be like a "teal?" colored sc300, dual exahust, "19?" inch stock lexus wheels chromed or polished. so if you can meet up with me and help me out with my search that'd be nice. i saw the car in SoCal, Hacienda Heights, Sierra Ridge community.

If it's a twin-turbo, then it's probably Payam's car. Is Hacienda Heights a 562 area code?

 

i dont know how to tell whether its a TT or not by looking at the exterior.

562? no..the Hacienda Heights i am in is (626). you probably meant to type 6 instead of 5?

oh my god, i thought CL meant California, but after reading a few more posts, i put 2 and 2 together and came up with club lexus

i need some help, found this red/BLACK sc300, with 150k on the odo. its going for 8,000. im wondering if this is worth it. the only reason i am thinking about the red exterior is the BLACK interior. i dont know about you guys, but i've come to the conclusion that black interiors are rather rare . i heard some guy is doing some sort of beige-black transformation? is that hard? because if it is. i wont really bother with the black interior then. because i really want a black/black sc3. im open to all opinions.

Yea, black interiors are pretty rare; there is a guy doing a tan to black swap in his. I can't imagine it would be all that hard, except maybe for the dash, but I don't know. Anyways, I think red on black looks good, IMO... check out this car (he has the JIC Magic kit, but it's still red and black):

 

The exterior of that car looks great. The interior....well, I hate it. Definitely not my flavor. However, I give the guy credit for putting a lot of work into the car. Just looks like too much red paint in the interior, IMO.
