Default Supra TT brake questions

I was looking into the TT brake upgrade and have heard some things along the way.

-Do I need the supra TT master cylinder in order to do the upgrade? A shop owner was saying that the SC stocker will not hold the pressure required for the upgrade. I have seen so many other SC owners do the upgrade without the master, makes me wonder about what that shop owner did wrong.

-Are the rear TT brakes a whole lot better than the SC one's?

Any advice and then some on this topic would help me a great deal. Thanks

You do not need the supra tt master cylinder for the tt brake upgrade. I don't know what the shop owner is talking about but the sc stock master cylinder works fine it's just if you get bigger rims or stop hard a few times from high speeds, the brakes will feel like jello. the rears are bigger than the stock sc's rears. i really don't know anyone that changed out the rears and not the fronts since most of the braking is used in the front calipers. if you ment are the TT brakes generally a lot better than the sc's then.. yes they are. they stop hard and they don't fade like the sc brakes do.
