First off I want to say there is "no such thing as a complete Kit". No matter what kit you buy you will have to add things to to get 400 whp. Trust me, I did a TON of research. I am running the Boostlogic kit and I love it. But you are right the boostlogic kit dose not include blow off valve, electronics, headgasket, bigger fuel injectors, or fuel pressure regulator. Plus for 400+ you will also have to remove the restrictive exhaust and rebuild the tranny.

my set up

T61 with a .58 at 16lbs boost = 416/420 whp - DAILY DRIVER
Boost logic kit
550 injectors
3mm headgasket
grady boost controller
SAFC II
HKS blowoff
custom exhaust
custom fuel pressure system
OBDII car - so I ran a supra tt MAF.
Duel eletric fans.
Rebuilt auto transmission with cooler.

Hope this helps and good luck.

what exactally would you need to add on to the dave h kit anyway? some sort of fuel control, like an afc? intercooler, a boost controller and what else? the tt maf? if theres anything else that one would need to get a basic kit going?

I am not sure what Daves kit comes with. So I can not really give a fair assestment of the BL vs Daves kit.

I do know that flow makes a big difference when you start going for more horse power. When I first put on the boostlogic kit, I was running the stock cat back exhaust and my number 6 header would glow red after a few pulls. Once I put the 3inch midpipe and a custom exhaust I picked up about 30whp, with no glowing manifold pipe.

I am in the process of tunning with new cam gears and with more tuning to go. I just put down 450whp at 17lbs boost on a t61 - 93 oct. Is this because the exhaust manifold flows well? Could be but I wouldn't say that it hurts you either.

TT Maf will work on a OBD II car, you will want a lexus LS400 Maf for a OBDI car.

Default Just found you forum!

Didn't mean to jack the thread, but didn't want to start a new one with the same question . I have a 93 SC300 5-speed & was going to ask the same question. You guys seem to have a lot of experience with these cars that is very insightful. I am looking at the Boost Logic kit, what electronics do you recommend for a street driven, basic kit? Thanks.
