No way in hell unless he got ripped of baddly.

The engine had cam gear, FMIC, intake, polishing, and that's about it. Paint didn't look that great in person. The most expensive thing was the body kit and molding added to the price of a 92 5-speed he probably doesen't have over 25K INCLUDING the car.

I dunno bout that. I think a 2jz-gte runs in the range of 4-7g's depending on where you would buy one. Then the tranny was purchased, so an additional few g's for that. theres also the FMIC. The kit w/ hood, i would give that sucker a bout 3.5 - 4 g's, cuz i think that's a jdm kit and he had someone cut a hole and made him a hood. rims...well we know they are a pretty penny. And even though the paint dont look all that great in person, it still costs money to pull out your motor and paint the entire car. your looking at around 2g's for that kind of labor for a nasty paint job and if he in fact went for the good stuff, it could of cost him up to 10g's. And i didn't even mention the tuning and install of the engine yet. so yeah, i dont find it too hard to believe it costed him round 50g's or more. Heck, he might have some stuff under the hood that u dunno about. i.e. pistons, springs, cam shafts, wut not... But then, thats me. Sometimes we spend a lot of money on our cars and it doesnt look like we really spent that much on them. But you never know unless you are the owner i guess.

Me, too. Not too shabby, but would have to see it on another color car. I like the setup of his center console, but I don' tlike the CF thrown in there.

why? why would someone do this to a beautiful car? Its not a civic! leave out the taillights conversions and the ricey looking body styling! man this is a luxury sports car.

BUT i do love the Engine work. Excellent.

Please check the actual prices before posting. No, it doesn't cost all that much. Especally the motor. It's around 3,000 dollars. I highly doubt he spent more than 15,000 on making this car what it is. He might be calculating the cost of the car which wouldn't run him more than 15,000 too.

I smell rice all over that car. A lot of things were done in a ghetto way. I understand some people's tastes are different. I call it "bad taste" and someone needs to slap them streight.

Default WHAT IS THE POINT????

I too am guilty of this. Commenting on pictures of cars that someone else made..that might seem outrageous and pointing and giggling at it.

Then you think to yourself..are we in the 2nd grade???

Really...that car isn't my taste...but there are elements I like. I can't bash the guy for it. Really what someone else does w/their money shouldn't matter.

ALSO..if the dude painted the car black and didn't have that spoiler...a LOT OF YOU..would be drooling and going "OOOH...where can I get that body kit"???

So...I'll break the chain of bashing his car and continue saying that the engine is very nice and the body kit has the best fender flares I've seen yet. These look molded and natural...not like the overfenders from other cars that show the bolts...

Hope we can move on past this happy giggling and just appreciate the cars..

I agree with you on the flares, although I'm not a big fan of them in general (I would rather do a wide-body conversion b/c there aren't as many out there). They are incorporated into the body very well and flow very well with that particular body kit, too.

...and I think EVERYONE likes what's under the hood

Hmm....what is rice??? i mean, he's got the engine to back him up. The color might be a little crazy, but hey, bet he'll spank those who are calling him rice. I mean, can you do that to your car? its not because you dont want to do it to your car its because you cant do it to your car. otherwise you would do it to your car. you would opt for that turbo, maybe the six speed. nos, fmic...what not. and damn, i dont think there is anything more rice then a slammed car with 2 big round ovals hanging from the bottom of its rear end with nothing to back it up besides a loud exhaust note. And if you go to claim that you would not do that to a Lexus because its a Lexus then damn...i dont know what to say to you. A lexus is a car, in fact its a toyota. So i dont see the big deal with fixing one up. hell, we are a lex family. got an is, gs, sc, and a lx. keep it real, quit hatin on what other people do.

I see that no one has made mention of him doing an auto to manual swap. That costs a pretty penny too.

And from the looks of it, it seems he's begun work on a carbon fiber dash. The shifter area aprears to be CF.

Everyone also needs to remember that he is building a show car so of course he needs the paint and wing to make that big statement at the show "Damn I'm here."

No matter what you call it, this car has the ***** to back up its statement.
