Hi Everyone

I was doing some spring cleaning (well it feels like spring) and noticed a lot of dirt build up around the distributor going into the head of the motor. After about 30 minutes of removal, cleaning, and inspection I go to place it back into its home and notice that there seems to be a hole in the North North West region of the entrance wall. it's about a 1/4" and appears to be jagged. Everything seems fine, but I'm wondering if this is causing the dirty/oil buildup around this area? Please let me know if anyone can shed any light on this matter!
