MAF issue
Hey, I’ve got a 1992 Lexus sc300 and I just replaced the MAF sensor after doing some tests and realizing it was bad, but now it will not start. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated. And now even with the new MAF sensor if I unplug it the car will run.
Hello,
How exactly did you come to the conclusion that the MAF Sensor is, in fact, bad?
What MAF Sensor did you get as a replacement, New or Used, OEM or Aftermarket (if they even exist)?
With so little information, my only advice so far would likely be to Backprobe the Signal Terminals and see what Voltage you will get on both New and Old Sensor, if it's more or less similar, the chances of two different Sensors being broken in the same exact way are pretty much negligible, so the issue will very likely be elsewhere.
Hope this helps and best of luck!
