Soarerownz....i agree about the "knuckle heads".........but after owning a uzz31 soarer for the last 4yrs,i am not about to give up my fight with the DOT!.....THIS CAR HAS COME ALONG WAY,J.P/UK/TX
The dot have just written to me! said i need to find an RI to carry out the conforming work[more bs] WHO conformed your car? sure would like a "grip of paperwork" too!!

And that may be how some of the Soarers are here. From several articles I have read ( right now I recall an article from 9/03 issue of Turbo where they purchased a JDM front clip), it is very easy to get a JDM car from the firewall forward in. There are several tuner shops doing just that, and it's perfectly legal. I imagine shipping in the back half as scrap should be equally easy. All you need is a shop and the ability to sew it back together.
