Question about sc300/400
Its costs more if you want to do internal modifications. that's about it. transmission swap is only slightly more because of the adapter for the bell housing but it all depends on the deal you get. i got my trans for 350 adapter for 300 driveshaft 30 transmount custom it came with the transmission just drilled new holes, slave came with the trans etc.... How much car work do you do yourself?
nice ok well if its not going to be your main form of transportation just get the cheapest one you can find in any year 300 or 400 the least desirable would be 95-97 sc400 in terms of HP potential but hell if you can get it for 1000 get it. just make sure there are no rust problem or frame damage. What city do you live in?

i live in Orlando they are not all 10k not even a majority. There are plenty for 2 to 6k that are clean. 10ks and up are manuals, extremely low miles and 2jz swaps. best thing to get is someone elses project for or throw away for cheap when you are trying to learn how to work on cars . if you get a car that needs nothing you learn nothing (Not literally).
