Default Seat Options?

As with almost any sc, my front seats are absolutely demolished, specifically the drivers side. I have a tan on tan interior with white exterior and was looking for a decent racing style seat to replace my drivers side with. I know braum makes a decent tan seat but that’s about the only one I’ve found and they come in pairs which isn’t really necessary as my passengers side isn’t super torn up. Plus I’m a college student and need to budget a little bit. That being said, the seat has started to get a little uncomfortable and I need to travel from socal to Phoenix, so something has to happen. Would a black seat look absolutely horrible on the tan interior? I’ve looked for seats at the junkyard since I got my car and have found nothing. Any photos or advice is appreciated. I like the idea of a cool seat but I don’t want it to look stupid, figured you guys would know better than me lol

If you're on a budget, maybe look into the 2000-06 Toyota Celica seats. I think I've seen them on here for sure. Will at least make it somewhat comfortable. You will probably need an adaptor plate or may get away with redrilling holes. You will need to look it up, but If you don't want to go that route, someone swapped in a Lexus IS, or RC seat in on youtube. I do think it was minor modification, but it's been a while since I've seen the video. Aftermarket seat will need at least 1 or 2 additional parts that you will need to add to the price of the seat. In addition to the possible modification of said framing parts. So a $300 seat may turn to a little over $500 with taxes and shipping, if you're taking it to a shop, it will probably double.

I'm not great with interior questions but I've ventured down the Lexus Bibble *blows off dust*

Facebook auto marketplace and probably eBay good spots to keep eye on. OEM sc300 used Seats show up there every so often. I often see decent shape sc300 seats within 100 miles of where I live on Facebook auto, making it possible to drive out and get em.

There is a you tube DIY regarding installing Mazda RX8 seats that is informative and these seats priced here in Mobile are very reasonably priced when you can find them. Hope this helps and good luck.
