I'm 17 and this is my first project car (sc400). I recently drained my coolant and replaced my thermostat because she was overheating. When going to refill the coolant I noticed that most the coolant was going straight through. I'm 90% sure the water pump is leaking and my ac compressor isn't working so I figure I replace both at the same time. I know its a pretty complicated job on these cars and I'm just wondering if anybody knows a GOOD tutorial I can follow. I also want to replace as many maintenance parts while I've got the timing cover off. If somebody could give me the run down I would appreciate it. Also I heard you can replace the weird fan system on the radiator (that requires tranny fluid) with electronic ones and that's something I definitely want to do in the future if anybody has knowledge on that. Any knowledge/advice is greatly. appreciated.

 

do you have a 300 or 400?
