Default 98 to 97 fuel system question

I posted a question a couple of weeks ago about putting my 98 engine and ECU into a 97 chassis, and how to make those two fuel systems play nice.

I think I have the fuel delivery figured out physically/mechanically. The 98 had the fuel pressure regulator in the tank, while the 97 was external. My 97 already had -6an supply and return lines run from the tank (to nothing, since the car had to drivetrain).

I bought everything to swap the engine over to match the 97's system...A new fuel rail, a FPR, and the hoses and connectors to connect up the lines I have, all -6an. Based on everything I've read and watched, this should work.

However, I'm not 100% sure the ECU will like this. On top of the pressure regulation differences, the engine/ECU is VVT-i, and the chassis is not. I don't know if that matters (I'm hoping not!)

Does anyone know if there will be any computer issues with swapping my setup like this?
