Default Should I sell GS for RX? help!

hello bought a 99 GS 300 from the original owner two years ago. Whata car, it has 65,000 miles now, but need more room to haul. Found a RX 330 with same mileage, one owner great price......I know nothing of the RX330's
And am afraid I'm giving up a great great car for ????
Does anybody have any advice, my 1999 window sticker was 42,000., this 2004 was 41,000, seems hard to believe with five years between the two.
Thanks for any advice and time.

Of course it will be up to you , sounds like you want and need a bigger car. I have 08 400h no issues at all. Also have 250h there are times I like driving it better But when I need the space or want to " feel" safer I drove the RX. Sounds like you have a great great and deal in the GS. I wonder how much bigger the RX is in real life situations ? I'm sure there is more leg room . Good luck looks like you can't really go wrong with if you want awd and about the same MPG .

The RX is definitely realiable and offer plenty of room compare to a GS. It does has its problem. rack and pinion tends to leak on older vehicle, and front lower control arm needs bushing replacement or arm replacement. My 08 has 85k miles, no leak at rack and pinion as I flushed with new fluid before but front lower arm bushing shows cracks, will need replacement in near future. Other than that, all good.

We just bought my wife a 04 RX w/performance package. I have a 98 GS400.

The GS drivetrain is FAR more refined than the RX is, of course 80 more hp helps, but the smoothness of the 1UZ-FE is something very hard for anything from anyone to compete with. Having an RX with a 1UZ-FE would be fantastic.

The RX drives well, overall very good vehicle, my wife loves it, that is most important. The stereo (Mark Levinson) rocks, but I do like my Nakamichi better. The kids LOVE the reclining rear seats. You will like it, but likely miss the GS.

Of the 6-7 RX's we drove only 2 handled well. The rest handled poorly, makes me think Lexus had Buick do the suspension.... Power is down on most, most were filled with 87 octane fuel, it makes a big difference in power having 93 in it over 87.

Get the Performance Package, get the Mark Levinson. We have the Nav, we weren't looking for it specifically, but we are really glad we got it.
