We noticed a rattle in our new to us '09 RX. I searched this site and found the answer. I epoxied the leading edge of the gas tank skid plate to the pan and the problem is solved. I'm anticipating that I'll need to do it again, but it's fixed for now and the repair is simple. I hate to think what it would have cost me if I had taken it to a shop.

My Lexus dealer fixed mine free of charge. They know this is a common problem. But I didn't realize it affected the 09`s as well.
